Beyond the Wall is a narrative film directed by Peter J Kirby centred on the life and thought of Rabindranath Tagore. The audio approach was designed to support a reflective, philosophical tone—grounded in realism, with moments of heightened texture where the film’s internal world comes forward, suggesting the porous boundary between inner experience and external reality.

Working as lead for music and sound within the production team, I composed the score, created sound design and foley, and handled the full audio edit and mix. The work was developed closely with director Peter J Kirby, shaping sonic detail and pacing scene-by-scene to match performance and image.
