Out of Place is a live electronic performance recorded in multitrack, built around samples, synthesis, drum machines and live effects. The setup demanded a recording approach that could preserve the energy and physical presence of the performance while retaining maximum flexibility at mix stage.

Paralel Audio handled the multitrack recording, and mixed and mastered the material for release. The final result was shaped to keep clarity, depth and dynamic range intact across a dense live setup, without losing the immediacy of the original performance.
