Paralel Audio is a sound studio for film and moving image, working across original composition, sound design, recording and post-production. Led by producer and composer Andrew Bunsell, we work across creative development, production and technical delivery.
What We Do
Paralel Audio develops music and sound for projects where creative direction and technical execution need to work together. This includes original score, sound design, dialogue editing, Foley, recording, mixing and final delivery.
We work across narrative film, documentary and moving image, adapting the process to the needs of each project.
How We Work
We work closely with directors, producers, composers and production teams. We can contribute as composer or sound designer within a wider production, or take responsibility for the full sound workflow from concept through to final delivery.
Our process is direct and structured: a conversation about the material, references and deliverables, followed by a clear plan and iteration. The aim is to reduce friction while protecting what matters most in the work — tone, pacing, atmosphere and intent.
Deliverables
- Final mixes: stereo, nearfield/TV mix and loudness-spec variants when required
- Stems: dialogue, music, FX, or custom stem groupings for post and future revisions
- Alt mixes: M&E, VO-only, dialogue-only, instrumental, clean/explicit, or festival and broadcast versions
- Video deliverables: sync’d exports for review, plus audio-only deliverables for post teams
- Session handoff: consolidated files and clear naming for DAW or post workflows
Background
Paralel Audio is led by producer and composer Andrew Bunsell, whose work spans original composition, sound design, recording and post-production for film and moving image.
The studio moves fluently between early creative development and the practical demands of production and delivery, making it effective in both intimate works and more complex multi-stakeholder projects.
Working Together
We work with directors, producers, composers and production teams who need sound handled with both sensitivity and precision. Projects can begin at any stage, from early concept development to picture lock, editorial problem-solving or final delivery.
If you’re developing a project and need original score, sound design or post-production support, get in touch.
